# JetBrains

> Every IDE licence, who holds it, and licences that never check in.

opsen reads your JetBrains organisation's licences: the product, the team, who holds it, and when their IDE last checked in with JetBrains. It prices each at JetBrains' organisation list price and finds licences nobody uses.

## Connect

**Settings → Connections → JetBrains.** In [JetBrains Account](https://account.jetbrains.com), open your organisation, go to **API tokens**, and create a token. Enter the token and the **customer code** shown beside it.

| Role | Why |
| --- | --- |
| Viewer | Reads every licence in the organisation |
| Organisation admin | Only if you want one-click revoking |

## Prices

Organisation licences, per user per year, divided by twelve: All Products Pack $979, IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate $719, dotUltimate $609, Rider $519, ReSharper $389, PyCharm $299, GoLand and PhpStorm $289, RubyMine $269, CLion and DataGrip $259, RustRover $229, WebStorm $199.

## What it finds

| Finding | Rule |
| --- | --- |
| Idle licences | Assigned to a person, no IDE check-in in 60 days, assigned more than 30 days ago |
| Covered by a pack | The same person holds All Products Pack or dotUltimate, which already includes this IDE |
| Unassigned licences | Paid for, current, and held by nobody |

Trials, suspended licences and lapsed subscriptions are left out.

## Acting on it

**Revoke licences** returns the chosen licences to your pool in one click. The person keeps their JetBrains account; the licence can go to someone else or be dropped at renewal. JetBrains only allows revoking a licence 30 days after it was assigned, so newer ones are never listed.
