Changelog

What shipped.

Every release, dated, with what changed.

Release

opsen 1.1

More ways in, and more ways for the numbers to reach the people who act on them.

Sign-in and access

  • Sign in with a one-time code by email, Google or GitLab, as well as GitHub.
  • Invite people by email as viewers, admins or owners; invitations last thirty days.
  • Not an owner? opsen writes the request to one, and lets you in once they install.

Sharing

  • An opt-in note on each merged pull request with the CI it used and what that cost.
  • A README badge with what opsen saves you each month.
  • The weekly numbers posted to a Slack channel.

Benchmark

  • What organisations of a similar size pay for and do not use, from every audit, published once no figure can point at anyone.

Referrals and open source

  • A referral link on your account. When an organisation you send pays its first month, you both get fee credit.
  • Free for organisations whose repositories are all public, every action included.
Release

opsen 1.0

The first public release: audit, act, and pay from what it saves.

The workspace

  • Overview, recommendations, spend, people, repositories and a change log for every organisation.
  • Personal accounts as well as organisations.
  • A public demo workspace to look around first.

One-click fixes

  • Reclaim idle Copilot seats and cancel stale invitations, with the list to review first.
  • Fix pull requests for superseded runs and hung jobs, linted with actionlint in a sandbox.

Coding agents and AI credits

  • Claude Code spend per engineer and per pull request, from Anthropic's Admin API.
  • Cursor seats, usage per member and idle seats, from Cursor's Admin API.
  • OpenAI API spend including Codex, by project, from OpenAI's Admin API.
  • Copilot AI credits by model, from GitHub's billing usage report.

Budgets and alerts

  • A monthly budget for each source, shown on the overview.
  • Owners are emailed once when a source nears its limit, and once if it goes over.

Pricing on what it saves

  • $0.40 per merged pull request, never more than 25% of measured savings.
  • A fix pull request counts as saved from the moment it merges.

A record finance can check

  • Every change with its approver, status and monthly value, exportable as CSV.
  • Read-only links and report JSON at a stable URL.

Enterprise

  • Single sign-on over SAML 2.0 or OIDC on DNS-verified domains, tested before it can be required.
  • Owner, admin and viewer roles, with an access list to export for reviews.
  • An audit log of every sign-in, access change, setting and action, as CSV or JSON.
  • Support from the app, with dedicated support on Enterprise.

Agents and the API

  • Fix in your IDE: open Cursor, Claude Code or Codex with the fix written out, or hand it to Devin, a Cursor cloud agent or GitHub Copilot.
  • The opsen MCP server and plugins for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
  • A read-only REST API with workspace keys.

Every platform

  • GitLab on gitlab.com or self-managed, including Duo and compute minutes.
  • Azure DevOps and Visual Studio subscriptions; Jira, Confluence, Service Management and Bitbucket.
  • JetBrains IDE licences and CircleCI credits.

Documentation

  • Docs with search, copy as Markdown and llms.txt.
